After Forbidden Island, Forbidden Desert, and Pandemic this game did have a lot to live up to, but if this was the first game by this designer there would never have been others. Instead of a tense adventure game where you build a spaceship it plays like a puzzle game. We tried 3 games and died very quickly each time. In the first game we died on turn 2. From other reviews it seems the strategy is to make one small play and then run and hide. That sounds incredibly dull. Randomness in this game is also extreme. Really a shame as the idea sounds great and the "build a rocket ship" element is just great. Even the box is perfectly designed making it a breeze to bring to the table and put away. I just wish the game play matched.

I wish I wanted to play it again. The difficulty and numerous hazards means you might die, in a 4 person game, before you get to make a move - essentially losing the game. The art is great, and I love the idea of hooking up a rocket to some electrical grid and escaping. However, having two different hazards and a high chance to have a hazard affect you every round means gameplay is dreadfully slow or you risk losing. What a shame after such great games from this designer.
